Skye Luong Chapman was born on April 6, 2002. Her Vietnamese birth name is Luong Thi Thom. Luong is her birth family name, Thi means girl, and Thom is her given name, which means a pleasant fragrance such as a flower.

     Skye spent the first 4 months of her life at the Social Welfare Center of Lang Son Province, North Vietnam. On August 7th, 2002, Skye joined our family. We made 2 trips to finalize the adoption process. She was a long awaited dream come true. She has opened up a bright new world for us.

     This website is the story about the journey which led us to our daughter. We've posted many photographs to share. Please stop by often, because we will be adding new photos of Skye.
